Comparison between Agile SCRUM & KANBAN:
Both Agile KANBAN and SCRUM focus on releasing software early and often. Both require highly-collaborative and self-managed teams. But, Are you curious to compare the key Features of it, would be interesting….
In KANBAN, there are no prescribed roles <=||=> In SCRUM, there are Pre-defined roles of Scrum master, Product owner and team member.
In KANBAN, Work is pulled through the System (Single Flow) <=||=> In SCRUM, Work is pulled through the System in batches (the Sprint Backlog)
In KANBAN, Changes can be made at any time <=||=> In SCRUM, Work is pulled through the System in batches (the Sprint Backlog)
KANBAN, measures Cycle Time and uses that as one of the important metrics <=||=> SCRUM measures Velocity and uses that as one of the important metrics.
KANBAN is more appropriate in operational/support/Project & Product development environments with a high degree of variability in priority. SCRUM is more appropriate in situations where work can be prioritized in batches that can be left alone.
